EDUCATION

It is important to us to educate both the parent and the player as to what it takes and what procedures need to be taken to get to the next level of baseball. Each winter we hold educational seminars to explain the academic and athletic criteria necessary to succeed at the collegiate level. We will bring in the college coaches and compliance officers to explain the recruiting process, timelines and NCAA guidelines.

EVALUATION

What is in your tool box? Understanding the tools that are necessary to play the game and what college coaches and professional scouts are looking for is essential. We will evaluate each player in the following areas: 1) Arm strength 2) Running Speed 3) Hitting Ability 4) Hitting for Power 5) Defense 6) Make-up. Evaluations for pitchers will be based on the following: 1) Fastball 2) Breaking Ball 3) Change-up 4) Delivery 5) Control 6) Make-up. These skills will determine the level of play beyond high school.

COMPETITION

Our players are selected and placed based on ability and it is important to challenge and play competition appropriate to their abilities. We compete locally at Diamond Nation and play nationally in various events so that our players understand the level they need to be at while competing in their respective age groups.

DEVELOPMENT

Player development is the primary focus of our academy. We have one of the finest teaching staffs in the country to help players of all ages and abilities raise their game to the next level through physical, mechanical and mental training. Our indoor and outdoor facility allow us to train players year round properly like no other facility in the Northeast.

EXPOSURE

For the higher level high school player we pride ourselves in providing events at Diamond Nation and traveling to venues where they are able to play in front of college recruiters and professional scouts. Our scouting data base is second to none on the east coast. We currently have an extensive alumni which includes over 200 players that have played or are playing for an NCAA institution. We also have had over 50 players drafted.
