Terriers Blue edged Team BC, 3-2, in the 18U College Elite Showcase Wood Bat championship game. It was the first championship game at Diamond Nation pitting two teams from Canada. Owen MacNeil was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player for the Ontario-based Terriers Blue. The Terriers (5-0) outscored their tournament opponents 23-3. British Columbia-based Team BC (4-1-1) held a 27-16 runs advantage on its opponents.
