Dr. Eric Gordon, Dr. Bob More, Dr. Phil Glassner, Dr. Michael Milone, Dr. Patrick Wang, Dr. Richard Chang, Diamond Nation owner Jack Cust, Dr. Elliot Decker, Dr. Daniel Areson and Dr. Christopher Caruso check out new MidJersey Orthopeadics banner on Field 4 at Diamond Nation.

Anyone who has played on Field 4 at Diamond Nation or watched games there, is well aware of the aesthetically pleasing outfield wall banners featuring MidJersey Orthopaedics.

The banner stretches the full length of the outfield, from the left field corner to the right field corner, and truly gives the field a stadium-like feel.

Players and Diamond Nation fans would be glad to hear MidJersey Orthopaedics boasts what is clearly an all-star team of doctors and, what few of their patients may realize, is also quite an athletically diverse group of medical professionals.

MidJersey Orthopaedics (MJO) proudly offers high-quality Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine and Spine care to patients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The company has convenient offices in Flemington, Bridgewater and Washington, N.J.

At those offices you will meet orthopaedic doctors who truly get what it is like to operate at peak athletic efficiency and what it feels like to be limited due to an injury or nagging ailment.

“We see athletes and patients of all ages and our goal is to restore patients to the highest level of activity,” said Dr. Robert More. “We see Diamond Nation and HealthQuest as high quality business partners who have the same commitment to excellence as we do.” Thus, the natural pairing of MidJersey Orthopaedics as the exclusive orthopaedic partner of Diamond Nation and HealthQuest.

The commitment to health and wellness extends to the personal lives of the MidJersey Orthopaedists as well. It certainly gives the doctors and staff a true understanding of the care of all patients, ranging from getting their athletic patients back on the playing field to keeping their elderly patients active and healthy.

Dr. Eric Gordon demonstrates his approach to personal health in his lifelong commitment to running as he works to crack the 5-minute mile. He’s getting close! Dr. Gordon still trains and competes while balancing his busy work and personal schedules.

Dr. Aleya Salam, a champion rower, keeps her self fit working on strength training with a trainer three times a week. She also trains in Taekwondo. Dr. Salam has a 12 year-old, who has been a competitive equestrian since she was 5 years-old. This has helped Dr. Salam greatly to understand the sport.

Tennis is Dr. Elliot Decker’s favorite athletic pursuit and that shines a light on the commitment to athletic training required as he continues to work on improving his speed and agility. His two sons play tennis competitively, as well.

Dr. Scott Bleazey grew up a highly competitive ice hockey player and certainly experienced (and delivered) his fair share of bumps and bruises.  Although his hockey days are over, he is a proud soccer dad of two young daughters. Dr. Bleazey understands the commitment required in athletics and the importance of sports in youth development.

Dr. Philip Glassner, who was born at Hunterdon Medical Center and grew up locally in Readington, knows the demands of athletics in an up close and personal way. His youth was centered around the pursuit of athletics as he played baseball and football in high school and continued to play football in college at Tufts University. Prior to medical school, Dr. Glassner worked as a personal trainer at Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Whitehouse. He’s back in Hunterdon County, where he is raising three athletically busy boys who play multiple sports, including travel soccer and baseball.

Dr. More immerses himself in the local sports scene as well, dedicating his time as team Orthopaedist for the county high schools.

That same competitive athletic gene motivates the doctors and staff at MidJersey Orthopaedists to want to provide the very best care and service to its patients as they work their way back to quality health.

“We have a full complement of providers that care for all sports related and orthopedic conditions,” says Dr. Glassner.  “We see patients same day and urgently and offer in-house MRI and digital x-rays. Our goal is to continue to grow and meet the needs of our community and our large service area.”
