Day one of the Super 25 Showcase, or more commonly known as the Diamond Nation Top 25, was an eventful one as seven teams in three age brackets separated themselves from the crowd with 2-0 starts.

As play begins at 8 a.m. this morning, Northeast Supreme White and the Crossbridge Raiders stand atop the Super 15U standings, Hustle Baseball Academy and Five Star NY lead the Super 16 field unblemished and three teams, 17U National Sportika, Dirtbags NY Titanium and the Crossbridge Raiders steer the stacked Super 17-18U bracket.

Things happen in a hurry in the Super 15U and Super 17-18U brackets as both fields will be thrust into the playoffs on Wednesday. The Super 16U playoffs don’t begin until 10 a.m. on Thursday.

The Crossbridge Raiders program came to Diamond Nation with a searing focus as both its Super 15U and Super 17-18U squads opened the tournament at 2-0. The Super 16U field is guided by two teams, Hustle Baseball Academy (2-0, 15-0) and Five Star NY (2-0, 10-0), that opened the tournament with a pair of shutout victories. No other team in the three age brackets had such a dominant start.
